Big Thanks and Upcoming News

Parents and Players,

First, a HUGE thank you to all the parents and players who participated in our fundraisers this past weekend.  It was great fun to support and cheer on the Fondo riders and the car wash was a huge success.  If you brought supplies and need to pick those up, please email Cary at caryrlindsey@gmail.com.

Second, we had planned to host a softball event this weekend but we are rescheduling that for August or September.  Watch for more news on this fun family event!

Third, we would like to have some players in the Lentil Festival parade this year.  The parade is August 19.  Please let me know if you can participate.  The players can walk or rollerblade.

Finally, please remember to start collecting garage sale items and look for more information on that soon.

Thank you,

Fundraising Events

Hello All,

I have been told by some parents that they are replying to the TeamSnap emails I have sent and getting no response from me. If this has happened to you, I apologize. I haven’t been getting those responses. I have contacted TeamSnap about this issue and hope to have it resolved soon. In the meantime, if you reply to a message and I do not reply back to you, please email me at cyob73@gmail.com. I am sorry about any inconveniences this may cause.

Because I had little response to the yard sale, we have pushed the date to a Saturday in August. Please, please help us make this a grand event!!

We have several fundraisers planned throughout the summer, please participate. These fundraisers help pay for ice time, which runs us roughly $175 per hour.

Upcoming Fundraising Events: Mark your calendars!!

Every Saturday (8AM-1PM) in front of Paradise Creek Bicycles, 513 S. Main Street, we have a table set up to sell Papa Murphy’s cards along with games and snacks. **WE NEED PLAYERS THERE TO HELP SELL THOSE CARDS!!**

July 15th: U14’s carwash @ Howard Hughes.

July 22nd: Polar Bears Play Ball! Visit us at Ghormley Softball Field 1 at 1:00 PM. Lots of activities happening! Fun for the whole Family!! ((More details to come.))

August (date to be determined) Yard Sale – Get your donations turned in!!

September 14th-17th: Latah Co Fair. We will have a Coca Cola trailer and will be selling our Walking Tacos and Burritos menu again this year!!

If you haven’t already, please add Polar Bears – Girls Ice Hockey Team to your Facebook.

As we are working towards making our fundraisers a huge success, your input is valuable. If you have suggestions or ideas, please pass them along to me. If you want to volunteer to work with ME (I’m the Fundraising Chair!), please let me know. I need your help!!! BIG THANKS to Cary Lindsey, Andrea Rupe and Jodi Atkins!!

Thank you all for being apart of Polar Bears Girls Hockey!!
